Labuan Skate/Blade Competition (KARNIVAL SUKAN PELANCONGAN W.P. LABUAN) - 250611/260611

Finally, here's a quick recap from the skate/blade comp (KARNIVAL SUKAN PELANCONGAN W.P. LABUAN) on the 25th & 26th of june. Everything here is shot only on the 25th which is the qualifying round but the results are also in the video because i didn't get to shoot on the finals. Reason is i need to head back to KK like damn early on that day. But yea, definitely the best event i've been in ever and this is pretty much all i can put on from that day. Cheers!

Rest In Peace to the soul of Al-Rusdi Yusuf Aka Babun

One of the local skater from KK, Al-Rusdi Yusuf a.k.a. Babun had just passed away from an accident just recently, unfortunately, i haven't got the chance to know the man himself that much but i know we have the same love on skateboarding and being a skateboarder, also when it comes to things like this, i'm sure all we humans tend to think about how life could be taken away just like that. All we can do is appreciate more with the life we've been given and pray always to the one that had passed away so that their soul could rest in peace, so let's all give moment of silence for him and pray so that his soul may rest in peace. Much condolences to everyone of Babun's family and friends. Rest in peace bro, you will be missed!

SLOW MO TV!!!

It's now 31st March 2011 at 10:48pm and another 12 Hours 09 Minutes Left Now!! Still on the countdown for the launch on another one of the latest local web production for the skateboarding & other extreme scene in Malaysia. Slow Mo TV is what it is, and as what i've found out from Man Extras' blog, www.manextra.blogspot.com, as usual the aim for these things are always about pushing up the local scene in Malaysia. All about promoting skateboarding, BMX & inline thru the aspects of events & competitions, trick tips, interviews & many more. I'd have to say the uprise on promoting the locals with this way is very good, cause this will definitely bring up all the scene and happening here in Malaysia.

What is up readers?! As you could see up there the title, 60fps Videos, which is one of the latest video production (Skate Videos & more) here in Malaysia. The production is runned by the people under Yak Yak/Yak Yak Ent. 60fps Videos are more focused on the filming and editing footage of the skate scene that's happening mostly all over Malaysia. What i could tell from their facebook page, they're soon to be targeting on a production house. I can't really say much but just go check them out. Borneo Update! (SLA Shop)

Here goes, SLA Shop! Finally another up rise on the skate scene here in borneo/east malaysia. For everyone of ya'll that's wondering what SLA is, it simply stance for Skate + Lomo + Art. Just to let you guys know, the owners of the shop are husband & wife, Charles aka Achai & Emily. Achai told me that the main concept of the store is pretty much on the skateboarding and the rest is on Lomography/Photography. For the artworks they got in their shop are much different from any other normal art shop, because they prefer arts from the local artist(mainly borneo). Besides that, Achai wants everyone to have a chance on what they're passionate about such as the artist with their artwork and photographers with their photography. One way of him doing that is by promoting their work on the shops' "Arts Wall" which isn't that big like the normal galleries but he said it's one way to start with on promoting these talented people. Every month they will feature on different artists. So now, i'm suggesting everyone that's reading should.. Wait scratch that, everyone that's reading MUST give SLA a visit while you're at KK. So to end this thing, i wanna congratulate Achai & Emily on SLA with what it is now and wish you guys all the best in the future. Cheers!
